Insero & Co. CPAs was recently ranked the No. 1 Best Company to Work For in New York for 2024 in the Medium Companies category by the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NY-SHRM) and Best Companies Group.
This survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in New York state, benefiting its economy, workforce and businesses. The list is made up of 92 companies and the rankings were announced on April 17, 2024 at a celebration in Albany, NY. This is the third year Insero has applied for the award, and the third year ranking in the top three. The firm ranked first in 2022 and third in 2023.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process. The first part evaluated each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth 75% of the total evaluation. Best Companies Group managed the survey process in New York and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
