Insero & Co. CPAs has named partner Michael Giess as the leader of its Audit and Business Advisory Group out of Rochester.
Giess replaces Timothy McLaughlin as leader of the Rochester Audit and Business Advisory Group. McLaughlin, along with Vincent Leo has been named to the firm’s executive management committee.
“Mike has lead our employee benefit plan practice for many years and we are pleased he is lending his excellent leadership skills to this new role,” said Nancy Catarisano, managing partner of Insero & Co. CPAs. “He is a pillar to the Rochester community as well as his team and his clients, and we look forward to what he will do in the coming years.”
Giess has been with the firm since 2002, after beginning his career in 1994 at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a graduate of the State University of New York, College at Oswego. As a partner at Insero he has led the firm’s employee benefit practice, which is now one of the top 1% of practices in the US based on plan assets audited. He resides in Victor.
