Why Choose Insero?
Our Internship Program is a great way for accounting students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program to gain real world experience with audit procedures, accounting standards and systems, tax returns, and 1099s. Our interns benefit by having an experienced mentor who will assist in their growth and development. Recruiting for new interns typically takes place in the fall (September through November) for positions starting the following year in either January or May. The number of internship openings will vary depending on our current needs.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate accounting program and at a minimum be entering your Junior or Senior year
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Students must be returning to school to be eligible
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational skills
- Good data entry skills with emphasis on speed and accuracy
- Functional knowledge of the MS Office Suite; Word and Excel
- Able to meet deadlines, be proactive, and have solid multi-tasking skills and strong analytical ability

Future Accountants Leadership Summit
Each year, Insero along with participating Upstate New York RSM US Alliance member firms hold the Future Accountants Leadership Summit in Syracuse, NY. This full-day event is a valuable opportunity for college new hires to learn how to gain a competitive advantage entering today’s job market. Learn about college to career transition, what makes a successful accountant, business etiquette, team building, networking skills, and more about the RSM US Alliance and the participating firms all while networking with peers and firm representatives.
