Michael Giess leads Insero’s Audit and Business Advisory Services Group out of Rochester, NY. Having joined Insero from PricewaterhouseCoopers, he has significant experience servicing private and public companies in the manufacturing, service, retail, and wholesale/distribution sectors.

Mike frequently consults with companies on technical accounting matters including business combinations, implementation of new accounting pronouncements, equity and debt transactions, and revenue recognition. Mike also serves as the subject matter expert for the firm’s benefit plan practice and has a deep understanding of employee benefit plans and the rules and regulations governing such plans.
